I have been working at Dunkin' Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

free food and drink depending on location. kind co-workers and management. fast paced and simple job. easy to learn, easy to move up in the company.

    Cons

poor communication between store management and district management. poor communication between store management and employees. scheduling hours rarely fit into any schedule. i.e hours are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am. employees rarely show up for work on time/at all, suffering no consequences from the management. usually end up staying hours past your scheduled time.

    Advice to Management

Don't just tell the employees what to do, give them the proper consequences when their job is not done correctly. change the hours to fit a normal lifestyle schedule.

I worked at Dunkin' Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People were friendly. Coffee. Donuts. Bagels. Coffee. Donuts. Bagels. Brightly colored walls. Refrigerator to put your lunch bag.

    Cons

Hired to do X, and when I got there, was told I'd be doing Y. The ole bait n switch.

Old-school management mentality. Micromanagement. No room for creativity and innovation.

Slow paced. Very slow paced. Leadership and employees do no embrace change.

Clock watchers. " Behind-in-chair" mentality. telecommuting, working from home was frowned upon.

Leaving early on Friday was a "benefit"...but don't bother leaving early on Friday, that's frowned upon too.

    Advice to Management

No one ever listened when opinions/advice was provided when I worked there. Not even worth filling this section in...

I worked at Dunkin' Brands part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Solid Benefits with an excellent 401K match even as a part time rep. Flexible hours and management was always accommodating to any schedule changes for the most part. They also have SO much coffee & food there

    Cons

I will say once you're working management really wants you to "drink the cool-aid" so to speak and it's rather difficult to get promoted. I was part time & those who were working really hard full time never quite rose up

    Advice to Management

It's a good idea to evaluate all of your employees so you know who's working and who isn't, especially around promotion time. Also, we're all aware you're a large company but maybe try to make employees feel a valued
