I worked at Dunkin' Donuts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule and that was it. The donuts aren't even fresh. There isn't really any incentive to move up. ...

    Cons

High turnover rates cause for disruption of management and everything else. Customer service goes down and all hell breaks loose. I personally worked for 5 months very rarely got breaks and worked like a dog because management doesn't want to pay to have extra needed people. I was supposed to get a raise and never recieved it I gave my notice and said something about my raise not being reflected on my check so they gave me a .10 raise and paid me 4.25!!

    Advice to Management

Seriously need to treat your employees better, and pay a little more. For gods sake schedule enough people and stop being cheap. Double work for little pay is frustrating when you aren't giving the customer satisfaction because your stores are understaffed. If you give incentive maybe you would keep people worth while.! Like me, because if I had been treated better more than likely would have stayed.

    Cons

Lower wages. It is fast food/coffee after all

I have been working at Dunkin' Donuts part-time

    Pros

Friendly customers and you will have a busy day.

    Cons

Not enough staff, so old incompetent employees are placed with younger hard working staff. The saying is true " you can't teach an old dog new tricks!"

    Advice to Management

Hire many more people and stop knit picking with the staff.

I have been working at Dunkin' Donuts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Make your own hours
    Fast pace
Was working in the highest volume store
    Made friends along the way!
The people that came in from corporate are really nice, wish I could say that about the franchise people that I worked for!

    Cons

    Operations not the best
The ones above the dm spot are not professionals
The don't care about your growth in the company
All they care about is their pockets
So hard to make a bonus no matter how much your store put in their pockets for the bottom line numbers and if you hit your targets or not they don't care!
Crappy workers, you can't find a decent worker to save your life if you had to.
    Location sucks
The people over the dm level are such micro managers that it's not even funny. They say they are not going to do your job for you but when you do what they ask and it's not to par level then they step in and do it instead of giving direction. And then you are the one that will get spoken to about it!

    Advice to Management

Get your heads out of your butts and stop being a micro manager and let us do our jobs. You lost the best dm out there for what reason? No reason at all! You will all sink within the next month or so since you do t have him around to do your job and his!
