I have been working at Dwellworks full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The employees and supplier network are what makes this company so great. The previous CFO used to say 'we don't hire jerks' and it's true - it's a team environment and people actually talk to each other and believe in and practice the company values - including senior leadership. Doing a great job sharing where the company is and where it is headed during quarterly town hall meetings that are for the whole company to attend or listen to - not just leadership, like in some companies. Lots of activities to keep people interested in the community and to get to know eachother. People work hard at their jobs becuase they genuinely care about the suppliers and the relocating employees - and eachother.

    Cons

Growth opportunities can sometimes be tough depending on the department you're in and low turnover, but there are other ways to learn and expand skills - like leadership roles in the committees and volunteering to lead projects. (and they're good about promoting from within)

    Advice to Management

Keep being real, keep talking to employees and keep sharing company info with teams. It's important for employees to know how we impact the bottom line.

I have been working at Dwellworks full-time

    Pros

Really team-focused, everyone is always willing to pitch in and lend a hand. Fun events are planned to keep associates engaged. The company takes good care of its associates.

    Cons

It can be hard to advance (low turnover with more senior staff). Busy reasons are always a bit chaotic and can get stressful.

    I worked at Dwellworks full-time

    Pros

    Friendly people
    Good benefits
    Nice office space
Raffle of tickets for shows and sports events

    Cons

Lack of consistency in decision-making from higher-ups
    Unfair treatment of managers.
HR policies are not applied consistently.
    Not very innovative.
    Not super efficient.
Directors and above tend to see Managers as no more than cogs in a wheel.
Many people do not speak up for what is right and just do what they’re told.
There are a couple of male VPs who have made sexist remarks.
If integrity is very important to you, I would not recommend working here.

    Advice to Management

Invest more time in your Managers. There are so many great people at the company, and they are being ignored or mistreated. The company is inadvertently creating a culture that many do not want to be a part of. There are several toxic people at the company that should be let go.
