    Pros

    Working with different contracts. Travel.

    Cons

It is no longer an employee company. DynCorp has gone through three company wide Reductions in Force RIFS this year. The focus was to lean the infrastructure as Bill Ballhaus states but the target was any employee who was at the top of their pay scale. All employees let go received two weeks pay and their benefits ended midnight the day they were walked out.

    Advice to Management

Start hiring Chiefs and Directors whose experience meets the job qualifications and not just someone whose salary fits the bill you want to pay.

I have been working at DynCorp International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Nothing much professional much about this company with such a management on Site and Head Office.

    Cons

Management doesn't seem to bother how their employees are doing with such a low salary (pay cut also food allowance only R.O 23 ) with the new WRM III contract.

    Advice to Management

Pay cut of almost 40 - 50% for Employees with winning of new contract of WRM III but also food allowance only R.O 23 for Asian work force is unacceptable and harassment.

Not enough experience in the LOGCAP arena for a project of that magnitude. Very unorganized, pay is low and 85% of everyone is not doing the job they are being paid to do.

    Advice to Management

    Learn how to manage.

I have been working at DynCorp International as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good people to work with. Published values are great, too bad management do not follow them.

    Cons

Below average pay, must work 36 hours overtime to make any money. When you question the low pay, you are told that you did not have to sign the agreement. We are supposed to be on a 90/30 day rotation, but "Management" is always changing the rules about it. Management is made up of people who are well liked (by higher mangers) but who have no leadership experience. This company seems to always be harassing its employees, the only way the company makes money is by the employees signing in and out, its a contractor thing. One would think the company would take better care of its employees.

    Advice to Management

Pull your head out of your 4th point of contact and look out for your employees. They will make or break this company. This company has already lost 2 other contracts in about 1 month, you seem to be trying to loose this one as well. I do not know if the company CEO knows about this hostile work environment or not, but that is why I am giving him a neutral rating below.
