      Pros

Family and Community Oriented company. Co-workers are a close knit group. Excellent recognition for employee performance. Focuses on Work-Life Balance and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Offers assistance and incentives for achieving personal goals. Excellent communication on health of the company from CEO.

      Cons

Not too many cons. Middle management tends to be inconsistent and not held accountable for management of their teams.

Executive management places unrealistic goals due to failing company performance and the long term prospects seem dim.

The last company I worked perm with laid me off, and I'm trying to decide the best way to word it. What I currently say doesn't elicit negative feedback. What I currently say: The company determined that they had an immediate need for someone with a higher-level skill set in my position, so they laid me off. What my spouse (who has been a hiring manager) recommends I say: The company decided to restructure my position, and I was assured it wasn't performance related. Thoughts? Thank you.
