I have been working at Dynamic Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to do a little bit of everything since it's such a small company covering a number of golf brands. Upper management really appreciates the staff and it is communicated regularly. Family friendly and fun environment.

    Cons

There is never a shortage of work, which I believe is a good thing. Not the type of place where you can just show up; you really need to produce what's expected of you since others are counting on you.

    Advice to Management

Keep holding quarterly meetings, the employees like to know what's going on in all areas of the company.

I worked at Dynamic Brands (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Casual atmosphere, employee-focused company with great benefits. Fun place to work.

    Cons

Tight budget, and when I worked there the communication between upper management and support staff was lacking.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent with the support staff.

I worked at Dynamic Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The non-managers were nice and the culture was fairly laid back.

    Cons

Leadership really had no visibility. Everyone was blind to what was happening. The work-life balance was a bit off. My manager told me one thing when I was hired and then after a year I was told the complete opposite.

    Advice to Management

If you want your employees to work hard, then you need to work just as hard to show you care. It's as simple as shedding light on company direction, providing better incentives, or just being more personable.

    Pros

All the workers within the company are great people. Very friendly and helpful and willing to help each other with any tasks that need to get done.

    Cons

The owner tends to hold tight control on the company and not let the people they hire do their jobs. That leads to frustration trying to get projects completed.

    Advice to Management

Allow the talented people that are hired to do their jobs and use their expertise to benefit the company. Give a clear vision through clear communication, and let the workers benefit the company.

    Pros

    Great people.
    Cradle to grave product involvement.
Ability to work directly with the factories and customers.
Micromanagement most of the times is limited and required to get your work done.

    Cons

    Lack of management interaction.
Management doesn't follow through on actions.
Management varies from considerate people that have a genuine concern for you as a person, not just an employee, to an almost bi-polar attitude towards various employees and a need for superfluous face time to justify fulfilling their job.

I worked at Dynamic Brands full-time

    Pros

Casual working environment, very open-door and everyone is easy to work with.

    Cons

No strong leadership that leads by example. Pay is average, benefits are below average. There is not a lot of incentive or understanding of why employees should care aside from getting paid. Would like to get five-star performance from employees but only are providing 2-3 star incentive. Management often just not there with no understanding by employees of where they are, or what direction the business is moving in.

    Advice to Management

Work on leadership skills and be more transparent about firm and executive activities. Instill sense of pride in company by having sense of pride in your own work and vision.
