    I worked at E. & J. Gallo Winery full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The beverage industry is full of perks. They literally wine and dine you once a year. Great way to feel rewarded for all hard work. Gallo also has a great award program for those who go above and beyond.

    Cons

Long hours the workload is often more than one can get done in 8hours. Politics sometimes makes things more difficult. Prescription is overly weighted.

I worked at E. & J. Gallo Winery as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you do well during your internship they will give you more responsibility and trust you with more work. The company goes through a ton of interns so they know how to treat them.
Fantastic culture and they do make an effort to help their interns grow. If you do well during your internship there is a good chance to get hired full-time.

    Cons

Your experience can vary depending on which manager you are assigned to.
For example, some managers will be against you working any overtime and others will expect 10-12 hours a day 5-6 days a week.
There is not a lot of training. Much of it you have to pick up yourself.

    Advice to Management

Make more of an effort to train your interns.
