    Cons

    1. 6 days working days. 2. Not good in infrastructure, amenities and canteen facilities. 3. Mobile not allowed in to the company.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at ECIL full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

As a PSU, we have freedom to work and has horizontal growth in knowledge. If you are working under good boss and projects, you will be happy. It is very nice that you will get balanced personal and professional life.

    Cons

Because of recent projects in ECIL, it is very bad that every body loosing their zeal to work and becoming rusts and simple supervisors rather than professional managers. Because of new projects like NPR, BPL, ECIL is not able to concentrate on the product development, in turn that effecting the future life of ECIL for sake of present survival and poor project management.

    Summer Trainee in Hyderābād
    Recommends

    I worked at ECIL

    Pros

An exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and an insight into the impact of private sector on government initiatives. Received great knowledge about industrial manufacturing techniques.

    Cons

Low compensation is a huge demotivator. Work to be done per number of people employed is low, and hence it is not challenging, which it could have been.

    Advice to Management

Try to encourage a more lively ambience, one in which employees are motivated to interact and share knowledge. Also, compensation for trainees could be increased, and they could be allotted more challenging projects.
