    I have been working at ECOM Atlantic as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    friendly environment, nice colleague, good work-life balance. small company means you have chance to get familiar with everyone in this office. We are like a big family.

    Cons

    It is almost impossible to find one disadvantage. If I have to say one disadvantage, it is that few lunch choice for people working there. The only one is the small cafe bar on the first floor

    Advice to Management

    good management. the only issue is that sometimes they sink into their own business so that they don't realize that there is an intern needing their help. LOL

    Pros

    Small company atmosphere in a global corporation
    Interesting business
    International travel and work opportunities
    Opportunity to participate in an important business making a difference in developing nations

    Cons

    Big company bureaucracy in what's essentially a small company
    Pace of work is immediate - everything has to be done right now
    Work-life balance heavily weighted towards work
    Compensation and benefits relatively poor

    Advice to Management

    The company needs to figure out what it is. Too much of the structure (organization, processes, systems) is or feels ad hoc and slapped together, like it's been assembled from mismatched parts. The company needs to develop a road plan for growth, put it down on paper somewhere and then follow it. As it is, plans get conceived, changed and dropped with seeming impunity.

    Pros

    * Travel
    * Exposure to commodities
    * Ability to relocate easily
    * Bonus if you can prove top results
    Overall...recommend.

    Cons

    The company is private and therefor it does need to adhere to all international standards.
    Sometimes it ssems that there is more value placed on perception of loyalty vs anything else.

    Advice to Management

    Create career paths and that are transparent and facilitate that.
    Recognize that the world is changing and that you will need to hire top talent.
