Pros
The people at EFG are what makes them a truly great company. Every team member I have had the pleasure of working with cares about each other and doesn't treat one another as a replaceable entity but as integral to the overall success of the company.
Cons
I didn't find them 10 years ago.

Pros
EFG Companies is a leader in F&I industry specializing in consumer products like automobile, powersports… risk and asset management. We consistently gain numerous awards each year. Below are a few. • Has been developing and distributing innovative solutions to drive higher U.S. auto retailer profitability for more than 40 years. • Operates as 100% Administrator Obligor on all product programs, removing any contingent liability to the dealer. • Has an almost 30-year uninterrupted relationship with Assurant Solutions, and their affiliated insurance companies, including American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, American Security Insurance Company and American Reliable Insurance Company, all “A” rated AM Best insurance companies. EFG is Assurant’s longest-standing Third Party Administration partner. We have less than 200 employees, but our company is growing steadily, and more importantly, we are profitable, so there is a sense of security working here. In IT BI group, we only have 3 full time employees, so I got more exposure to different technologies and more projects than bigger companies do. It requires you to be fast-paced and dynamic, but I feel excited working at EFG Companies.
Cons
I live in west coast and EFG Companies is located at Dallas, TX, different time zone.

Pros
Ability to work remotely or hybrid.
Cons
Terrible benefits and compensation. Incredibly dysfunctional and divisive senior leadership. Antiquated systems and hemorrhaging customers. The only reason the glassdoor reviews are high is because they underwent an uncomfortable, high pressure campaign encouraging employees to write a review.

Pros
This is the first company, in my 36 workforce career, that doesn't belittle you for mistakes. They actually use it as a learning and growth opportunity, which in turn makes you better at your job. EFG does care about it's employees, and this is reflected by gracious vacation time, which accumulates annually. Unlike what you hear about most corporations in America today, they want, and encourage, employees to use their vacation time. After the initial training period, you only have to go to the office 4 days out of a month, the rest of the time is work from home. The pay is more than fair. If you, as an employee, have a suggestion as to how a function/process can be improved, management wants to hear it.
Cons
Have to go to office 4 days a month.

Pros
Hybrid model working 80% remote - Greatest Boss & CEO that spearhead the company with admirable leadership - Get to work along side talented individuals across the organization - During the 9+ years employed, this company has carried on its Values & wonderful culture that include corporate events that create fun filled memories - In its entirety, this company honors and appreciates their employees by recognition + rewards. Best place to work indeed!
Cons
We have different rotating schedules when in the office, therefore not everyone gets to engage with one another as often as before.

Pros
This is a wonderful hybrid remote job. You only work 4 days in the office a month. You have great co-workers and managers that really care about you. They have an incredible PTO system that gives great work/home balance. As well as amazing health benefits. This is a great company to work for.
Cons
No real cons to share. Pros all make the job feel like a blessing to have.

EFG companies strives for excellence, we are innovative and inclusive. I have never experience a job that has made me feel like actual family. That is what most companies say they are but never actually achieve it, at EFG we've accomplished it.
