I have been working at EFI as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Team attitude, everyone I have had an opportunity to work with are willing to help you and the customer. I didn't think I would find a company in the middle of NH that takes cares of its employees like EFI does. It was worth the wait becoming a permanent employee.

    Cons

Extended period of time to convert from Temp to Perm employee.

    Pros

    - Team players and hard workers!! Most of them knows the products inside and out. Impressive team I have ever worked with. No comparison to other companies!!
    - Majorities are quite honest and mature.
    - Management has to go through review from the team yearly. Due to this, managements are always faced to improvements for the teams, not for their own positions. All managers I had were mature and fair.
    - Very supportive for employees with families. Things happen unexpectedly with having family and management truly tries to help out.
    - The managements do not follow cookie cutter scenarios like seen in many young managers in other companies. They try to find solutions within their limits.
    - Stable.

    Cons

    - Politics, which we expect everywhere. One you used to it, it is not so bad. Nowadays, other places have the worse.
    - Mostly, black box testing and waterfall. It is hard to acquire contemporary QA skills.
    - Work from home is normally not an option for QA.
    - Base salary is lower than standard.

    Advice to Management

I stayed there for so long and I loved the ways the managements are in most cases. It is too bad that I had to leave. I miss EFI so much. Please keep up with the good work!

I worked at EFI full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

good people to work with; interesting work

    Cons

corporate management needs to appreciate their employees better..local management was very good, but their hands were tied by upper management. Too many vague reasons for no pay increases, yet corporate was always bragging about getting to be a "billion dollar company"...You didn't do it alone..try rewarding the folkes who got you there.

    Advice to Management

quit buying new companies, and appreciate the employees here that help contribution to your Billion dollar company goal
