    Pros

The good reason you would like to work at EMLYON is because it's known and used to be among good management schools in France and Europe.

    Cons

Toxic environment, procedures are too long, employers are never listened too, bad management. Not everything that shines is gold!

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employers, they might have something to tell you, they are your first mirror.

I have been working at EMLYON Business School full-time

    Pros

    - All faculty members are encouraged to take initiatives and are rewarded to do so, so beyond the "we just value pure research profiles" attitude.

    - Research is still very well rewarded with nice bonuses for publications in highly ranked journals.

    - The school is opening new campuses in Shanghai, Morocco and Paris, and faculty members are encouraged to join them.

    - Generally, a school where faculty members feel they will be actively developed on all the majors topics rocking business schools at the moment: internationalization, digitalization of teaching, outreach to society.

    - Lyon is a great city: an international environment, great culture, and yet a low cost of living.

    Cons

    - Faculty members who privilege a steady pace, traditional faculty roles and do not like organizations undergoing change might not appreciate EMLYON.

    - The offices are a bit worn out and are not well insulated - in June, start bringing your fan!

I worked at EMLYON Business School (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great team, great staff, lovely campus. Good canteen and lovely grounds.
Several years ago, this was a great place to work, but with recent changes of management, morale has dropped (see below).

    Cons

Poor management, no staff support, no loyalty to staff, poor resources, lots of cutbacks in all areas...and the results are self evident: drop in global business schools ranking for business school

    Advice to Management

Everyone suffers when money is placed ahead of everything else.
Listen to your staff and students. If you want to remain at the top of the game, don't make it all about the money to the detriment of everything else. Your students and your staff deserve better.
This used to be a great Business School and a great place to work but with changes of management, it's now becoming a mediocre one with falling standards and reputation.

Unprofessional team with very little to no experience of the working world.

    Advice to Management

Enhance the training of its members.

I worked at EMLYON Business School full-time

    Pros

    Advice to Management
