I have been working at EMS Management & Consultants full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fun place to work with lots of fun perks, like Fro Yo Fridays. Management is doing really good with engaging staff and offering classes for growth opportunities.

    Cons

Salary. Anything managerial, above billing and customer service gets a decent salary per the reports on glass door. $12 and $13-$15 an hour is not going to keep employees long term, regardless of the benefits, which are great.

    Pros

Nice facility, Open door policy. The C Suite are approachable and engaged.

    Cons

The employees "on the floor" are cliquey and not professional. The attitudes are anti client and often place blame on clients. Not the most compliant environment.

I worked at EMS Management & Consultants full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The work environment is lax Culture is great These are the only two reasons I stayed for 3 years.

    Cons

Senior leadership has no clue what they are doing. The investment firm that owns the company is forcing the company to cut, and squeezes everything they can out of the company for the lowest cost. The job was presented as a helpdesk job, but in reality the role was a Systems Admin role, initially grossly underpaid and overworked. I worked almost every weekend and that wasn't enough according to my manager. There are no benefits anymore, insurance covers nothing. Management will lie to your face about anything and everything. They do not wish to hire the staff they need to support the business, they are okay with being understaffed, money is an issue all the time even though the company grew by 50% and made record EBIDA year in and year out. When someone leaves due to being overworked and stressed out, they pile the job onto an existing employee and act like business as usual. You are required to perform job duties that were not in your Job Description, and will be punished if you do not comply. There are really no opportunities for advancement in the IT team. Everything is always on fire, because they haven't done anything that we recommended to them. This company will not last, if you do want a job here, use it as a learning opportunity and leave the first chance you get.

I worked at EMS Management & Consultants full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Not a lot - it is a job.

    Cons

Low pay. Employees are unappreciated and treated poorly by management. People work there for years being dedicated employees and then one day they are walked to the door and are told they are no longer needed. Too many jobs being out sourced to India. Managers will lie to your face and not blink an eye. It used to be a wonderful company to work for, but with change in upper management, it is no longer a secure place to work. People are disposable.

I have been working at EMS Management & Consultants full-time for more than a year

    Pros

breakroom is nice, social activities are a plus, schedules offered are ok, dress code is relaxed, upper management “seems” genuine

    Cons

The pay is very low and the turnover rate is very high. Mid level Managers are disorganized and very passive aggressive. They will send an email to the entire company to address the behavior of 1 person. When there is a target on your back you will feel it yet no one will address you until days later. You will never get the same answer twice when asking a question due to poor Communication. If you are able to work from home be prepared to find childcare for your children per management.

I have been working at EMS Management & Consultants full-time for less than a year

    Pros

They really care about your development and want to ensure you leave better than how you came in. The benefits are top notch and they really embrace their values. Truthfully, this seems to be a place where you get out of it what you put into it. If you come with a crap attitude, you will kind be the outcast...especially in the customer service department. I am very satisfied with my job.

    Cons

It is an easy place to get stuck if its not something you want to do for the rest of your life.
