I have been working at ENGIE Insight full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I have been at ENGIE Insight for 5 years, and I love what I do. Since arriving, I have consistently been given opportunities to grow, learn new things and advance my career - including 4 internal promotions. The company is extremely purpose driven with a strong focus on sustainability, which makes me feel like the work I do is extremely meaningful. Finally, the people are very friendly and committed.

    Cons

ENGIE Insight is a fast growing company that has a lot of change. If you are someone who loves the opportunities that come with that, it is a great place to be. People looking for a conservative environment with little change may be less satisfied.

I have been working at ENGIE Insight full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I have been working here for nearly 5 years, and I think the company has been great and is constantly improving. There are fantastic health benefits, good pay, a lot of opportunities for advancement. In addition, there have been great strides made to improve interdepartmental communication, technology, and processes. The management genuinely cares about the people. They work hard to find ways to reward hard work and...

    Cons

Compensation could use some improvement, but this is something that is being worked on currently.

    Advice to Management

You have done a great job including the employees in decision-making and improving employee engagement as well as internal movement. Keep it up!

I have been working at ENGIE Insight full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I like the mission. Until recently, the people were amazing. Now, with the overhiring for a new large client, it looks and sounds like a circus. Entry pay is decent.

    Cons

Too much overtime, until they decided NO OVERTIME. Many employees relied on the overtime to pay bills, due to low wages. Cut overtime, and now many employees either quit, or are working two jobs. There is no loyalty to the veterans. In fact, I dare say veterans are endangered here. LOTS of favoritism. What once was an autonomous job is now supervised by a microscope and intolerant or controlling YOUNG team leads.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the knowledge that lay with the veterans. Show them back the loyalty shown by the veterans to Engie. Take a deep look into favoritism. I would imagine there are FEW people in places of supervising that haven't taken the opportunity to promote personal friends....this IS wrong. if a supervisor has personality issues with an employee, that employee can go years with NO pay increase. This is wrong. wrong. wrong....

I have been working at ENGIE Insight full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Flexible hours when needed, decent benefits. Early shift is great.

    Cons

Like most other reviewers here I don't see why people love this company (probably because they are part of the common clique...). I have been with the company many years yet no pay raise for over six while hearing about other newbies (under three years employment) getting damn near $ .50/hr raise? IF you know how to earn your brown nose you'll do fine. Me, I prefer not to do that, thank you. Additionally, their high...

    Advice to Management

HR (those not in the all-too-common cliques) should really, I mean REALLY, review how non-exempt employees are treated on a day to day basis. It would take only a matter of weeks to get an eyeful, but you would get both eyes full, for sure. Then do the anticipated housekeeping. All too often one hears newbies comment about how so and so got their position with such an obvious lack of experience and people skills. People,...

I worked at ENGIE Insight full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people to work with. Work is challenging at first. Great Benefits. Good WorkLife Balance

    Cons

Uninvolved Upper Management. Limited Room for growth. Work becomes tedious, thus a high employee turnover in specific departments. Low pay, not enough to support the standard of living.

I have been working at ENGIE Insight full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The people are great. Bosses, co-workers, receptionist, maintenance, I have only good things to say about them. There are also a number of fun events to participate in through the year, from celebrating days like Pi Day with pie for everyone to a full-blown catered holiday meal in December. Also, the PTO is great.

    Cons

Communication is horrible. If processes change, many employees who have been there for years don't hear about them until someone who's newly trained happens to mention them. I haven't seen much good in the way of communication in any sense. The company has also lied and broken promises on a few occasions, usually regarding things like increasing pay and dealing with compression. Pay is below par. I've been working...

    Advice to Management

Communicate with the employees. More importantly, pay better. With Amazon coming to town, you're risking losing a lot of people, and when the minimum wage goes up next year, you'd better have a plan to make sure people don't feel any compression at all, or there are going to be serious issues. While it's nice that little celebrations happen, it means nothing if your employees are barely scraping by because of the abyssmal...

I have been working at ENGIE Insight full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

It feels great to work for a company that is making a real difference in the world through sustainable resource management. ENGIE Insight is truly committed to helping multi-site organizations reduce their environmental impact by reducing resource consumption. In the 14+ years I have worked for this company, I have experienced a lot of change. The company is more committed than ever to it's employees, their well being,...

    Cons

ENGIE Insight has been making significant improvements in leadership development, and I would like to see even more. More frequent training would be good. Also ensuring that it occurs at all levels of leadership. I also think it would be nice to have a day care in the buildings where our offices our located - it could really ease the burden of child care for many families and be an added benefit for working for ENGIE...

      Pros

ENGIE Insight as a company cares about you as an individual I get to come to work and make a difference and the company shows how much they appreciate hard work and make changes based on people first and that is important because without a people there is no company. Thank You ENGIE Insight!!!! The intersectionality, and core of the company house a deeper understanding of the sociological aspects of how a company thrives....

      Advice to Management

Keep up what you do. There is a difference between managers who hear you and ones who listen. You are the ones that listen. Thank You for that. In this world it is easy to hear conversations but it is rare to find management that allow to be apart of the conversation.

      Pros

The opportunity for advancement is fantastic. If you are willing to learn, be open minded, and grow, you will succeed here. Having started out at an entry level position and working my way up, I can attest to this. I can The culture that we strive for is one of innovation and participation.

      Cons

With any growing business there is change. While some struggle with the ever-changing atmosphere, others thrive. If you are a person who likes things to stay the same, this may not be the place for you,
