I have been working at ENGlobal full-time

    Pros

If you do good work, you get freedom to do your work the way you want, within customer's scope of course.

    Cons

There has been a history of bad management, but that seems to be improving.

    Advice to Management

PLEASE communicate more with the employees - not just generic newsletters, but status of projects, etc. And once firmly back on our feet, please bring back the signs that you appreciate the employees.

I have been working at ENGlobal full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The local office is filled with fantastic, hard-working employees committed to one another and their clients. The office is really nice and there are mints in the lobby. If you think trading mints for career-crippling, corporate abuse is worthwhile, I'm sure you'll love it here.

    Cons

Corporate management has always and will always be the major issue holding back the advancement of this organization. HR is committed to losing track of applicants, their hiring status, informing hiring managers new recruits are scheduled to report for work when Background checks, drug tests, and IT forms have yet to be filed. Corporate management excels at demotivation, not responding in a timely manner, removing... benefits, withholding much needed IT upgrades, keeping employee pay locked for years on end, and spinning promises they never intend to keep.

    Advice to Management

Pass the company to someone else with a more linear/logical method of thought.

I worked at ENGlobal full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Challenging work, you will always be busy. Great paid time off policy. Good corporate culture.

    Cons

Can be a stressful environment. They are quick to layoff employees when business takes a temporary downturn.

    Advice to Management

Need to pay more attention to pay scales for all employees, not just executive management.

I have been working at ENGlobal full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Small company atmosphere Friendly people by and large Large volume of work at times Reasonably flexible schedule depending on manager Finally beginning to take safety seriously. In the past it has been lax at best.

    Cons

No longer a respected company in the industry Poor pay and benefits compared to competitors Several years of losses every quarter has hurt a lot of peoples faith in upper management, especially since no changes have been made nor has a plan to revive the business been discussed/rolled out

    Advice to Management

Its time to focus on your employees instead pushing to expand beyond financial and workforce means. You can't fulfill contacts without people.
