    Pros

Good pay & benefits. Great non-management workgroup, hard working team in most instances.

    Cons

...but not for long. Advice to potential EMPLOYEES. It's a crapshoot. I feel like it's my moral and social duty to implore you; DO NOT QUIT A GOOD JOB TO WORK FOR ENGLOBAL. If your unemployed, give it a shot, but be prepared to face future hiring consequences when they fire you after they've sucked the life out of you like the marrow from a bone. They will lure you with good pay and benefits to obtain your services to meet government contractual requirements, and then they will cut you loose. They lie and say they will train you and work with you to learn the new job and industry, but that is a fallacy. You are then jobless and without benefits, and they do not care in the slightest. There is no legal recourse. This has happened to more than one person and constitutes a pattern. They will set you up and try to make you feel like it's your fault, but don't consider that you can compare your work ethic and production to those that are retained. It's a highly political clique and they protect their own for some reason. If they don't lay you off, and you are not part of the chosen few, you will work the most grueling schedule of your life. It's a sweatshop to end all sweatshops. DO NOT BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM.

    Advice to Management

    Ha, like they would listen.

    Pros

Long-term employment. Good pay and work life balance

    Cons

Benefits continue to decline. Middle management not experienced and seem to promote through the buddy system instead of merit. No HR system in place to review associate work so no recoginition program in place.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved in what is going on in your Beaumont office. Be more forward thinking in offering associates reviews and bonuses.

    Pros

Some strange reason they continue to get projects. They really are a disfunction group of non-degeed so called engineers.

    Cons

Mangement lives in a dream world. They need to clean house. Too much old dead wood have been hiding there for along time.

    Advice to Management

Be true to yourself and quit trying to doctor your books to look better then you are.

    I worked at ENGlobal full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, decent pay, variety of tasks

    Cons

Age discrimination, protect the few, cliques can do no wrong. Lie and deny. Company lies to clients and employees, says they care but then lays people off just to post their job or a similar job a week later. Despite expressing desire to grow and learn, only select few were given those opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the cliques and the protected ones. Offer more opps for those that want it. Don't make empty promises.

I have been working at ENGlobal full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Local Denver leadership and fellow employees, pay and benefits were adequate, strong safety emphasis

    Cons

Upper management vision and strategic planning. Rode the waves of work by hiring and firing. not very welcoming to women in the design department. paying subcontractors, vendors and suppliers. general business development

    Advice to Management

CFO focused on small things instead of efficient systems. Company needs to have a long term plan for the boom and busts of the oil and gas industry so it is worth being publicly traded.
