I have been working at EOIR Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Easy money. Can just sit at your desk doing almost nothing. Management is clueless.

    Cons

If you want a career, look elsewhere. If you want to be able to punch a time card and get a paycheck, jump on-board.

    Advice to Management

It's 2017... not 1995! Old school tactics don't grow companies

I have been working at EOIR Technologies full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, no micromanagement, good salary

    Cons

No communication from management - we hear that the company has been sold and some have been officially told while the rest of us haven't. It makes no sense. There is no logic behind the promotion of people to senior positions. Many times they lack people and project management skills. It reeks of favoritism. Meanwhile, staff who do the difficult, day to day work that runs the business, often putting in long hours, have no path forward to career advancement.

    Advice to Management

Communicate equally to all in company. Make sure managers are trained and qualified. Reward the people who actually do the work. Don't run the company based on rumors and spur of the moment ideas.

I have been working at EOIR Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

EOIR's atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Management is both personable and empowering. The day to day work is challenging and enjoyable.

    Cons

Honestly, there's nothing negative I can say about EOIR. Although tasks may change suddenly from time to time, I see that as a plus.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Keep showing personal interest in employees and their success.

I have been working at EOIR Technologies full-time

    Pros

Pay is OK. Work is OK. Dress is casual. Beats selling a kidney for money, though, I do have 2 kidneys.

    Cons

Awful benefits, only 3% 401k match. HR needs a real HR person in charge. This company will get sued big time some day. Back office people think engineers work for them. Raises are a joke. Everyone gets "COLA". No incentive to excel. No training.

    Advice to Management

Hire a real HR person. Get some real benefits. Break the company into two companies, SEPI and ICI. Let the back office people got to SEPI.

I have been working at EOIR Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, Competitive pay and a nurturing work environment.

    Cons

Contracting world, EOIR was a subcontractor to another entity. The span of the contract left a lot to be desired. One year with two optional one year extensions did not allow for an employee to make future plans either in professional life nor in the home environment. This is not a fault of EOIR however, but more a problem within the system of contracting with the Govt.

    Advice to Management

Strive to be a prime instead of a subcontractor. Also, try to push for longer contracts.
