    I worked at EP+Co. full-time

    Pros

Great people, vibrant agency environment, creative thinkers.

    Cons

Lots of petty office politics. Strict processes get in the way of delivering quality work in a timely manner. Power struggles between creative, account teams, and digital are absolutely ridiculous. Low morale and even lower pay. Upper management is completely out of touch. Not the same place since Joe Erwin left.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your people. They're what drive your success.

    Cons

Cheap af. Everyone is spread thin.

    Advice to Management

Think about what your penny pinching effects has on morale.

I have been working at EP+Co. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Teams are supportive and fun to work with. It's an agency full of problem solvers that always finds a way to get something done, no matter how gritty we need to be.

    Cons

Sometimes the grittiness can be a little hard, people are usually overworked and teams are understaffed. Salaries aren't the highest.

    Pros

Lots of opportunity. Things move fast though. Volunteer or you will be passed by. And you are expected to work hard. Very hard. You will learn a lot when you're doing it. If that is not for you then this may be the wrong industry for you.

    Cons

Been through a lot of change recently. Things are more stable now but it was a hard place to be.

    Advice to Management

    Stabilize. Be consistent.

    I worked at EP+Co. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Made some amazing contacts and friends that I still hold to this day. There were some amazing creatives and big thinkers.

    Cons

This is not an agency for making big work. They make newspaper inserts and some banners. Some of the work makes a few ripples in the industry, but there's heavy favoritism which keeps you from pulling down good briefs if you're not in the in crowd.

There's poor organization and you have the burden of working with the Greenville office. Their skills are remedial at best and they get divisive/political if your creative eclipses their own.

    Advice to Management

Wrangle away any business you can from the Greenville office.

  10. "Great creative and clients"

    I worked at EP+Co. full-time

    Pros

    * Solid, collaborative creative teams that developed ideas clients loved.
    * Agency clients are good, rational partners.

    Cons

    * Two cultures [offices] sharing one company name.

    Advice to Management

    * Overall good experience, but need some additional new business wins to sustain.
