I have been working at ERA Advertising full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Beautiful branding and quick response to potential employees. The receptionist is very nice.

    Cons

This company uses cat fishing techniques to get new employees. They claimed they were hiring for work in Davis (20-30 minutes from me) and it turned out that they were hiring an hour and a half away from me in Vallejo, Suisin city and Fairfield. This was not stated in the job qualifications or in the phone call I had with the receptionist prior to the interview. Needless to say $26 of gas later I arrived to find they are actually hiring people to work at Costco to sell DIRECTV. This is not the job advertised. That is not marketing that is direct sales.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with potential employees. Advertise correctly for what it is you’re looking for, what the job actually entails, and at what areas you’re actually looking to have people work in: be clear in the job description or specify in the follow up email what areas daily work is expected to be performed in.

I worked at ERA Advertising full-time

    Pros

I worked at ERA for a little over a year and the entire experience was incredible. I had zero experience in sales or management but by the skills that I developed here changed the course of my career. I’ve never worked in a place that puts personal development and culture in front of the bottom line but it was truly refreshing to be able to put my primary focus on my own development and get paid to do it! I appreciate you ERA!

    Cons

Hours can be long but generally flexible

    Advice to Management

    Keep focusing on ‘The People’!

I worked at ERA Advertising full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I absolutely loved the people. Era was actually a much better addition to my life than my family ever was to me growing up. They took the time to train and develop my mindset to be more positive. Even though sometimes I didn't always deserve it. I went through the management training program and now use the skills Gianna and the team taught me to run my event planning business,(Which is thriving by the way).

    Cons

I've never had a job that I was judged off of the work that I actually do. At first I honestly didn't like this. I was always held accountable and given constructive ciriticism on what I needed to fix and I was a really prideful person when I started so that was something I needed to overcome myself.

    Advice to Management

Thank you! I couldn't have had this success without your guys help. I honestly like who I've become and I will continue to develop myself just like you guys taught me!
