I worked at EU Services full-time

    Pros

The People are the best part of EU Services.

    Cons

There were great people that worked at EU who were so under appreciated by new ownership. Numerous layoffs of long tenured employees killed morale.

    Advice to Management

    Get back to the basics.

I worked at EU Services (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    -Safety is highly encouraged
    -Free coffee
-It's a paycheck (no raises, but a paycheck)

    Cons

The new owners and upper management have zero respect for anyone below them. They took a great place to work, where as long as one worked hard and smartly they would be treated well, and turned it into a place where everyone is on edge and miserable. The intelligent people are leaving in droves and most likely more will do the same. Don't get me wrong, if you are in a bad spot and really need a job then EU is probably not the worst place to work. But don't say I didn't warn you. I only hope that the people I care about that are still there find new work as quickly as I have. Everyone deserves respect, from the person who sweeps the floor to the person making the big sales.

    Advice to Management

I don't believe they would take any advice into consideration.
Also, John Loudon is not the CEO anymore.
Clif J. McDougall is the CEO and doing a poor job.

    Pros

    2 locations with many departments.

    Cons

Recently has become a scary place. Many people in fear of termination. Much confusion over new management philosophy.

    Advice to Management

Decide if your really flipping the pyramid like Toyota or not. Going back and forth on this is extremely stressful to employees and their families. Upper management is a contradiction to itself at the moment. It was working for a while...

I have been working at EU Services full-time

    Pros

The people you work with are nice people. The environment is easy going for the most part. There is a pretty good work life-balance, except during busy season.

    Cons

There is absolutely no opportunity for growth. As an employee, you are constantly asked to take on more responsibility with no incentive to do so. The compensation is poor for such a heavy workload. Relationships are more important than merit here.

    Advice to Management

Work on improving training for new employees. Be more transparent and honest with your employees about what is happening with the company.

I worked at EU Services full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The employees behind the scenes are the best in the industry and you will only get the best quality and service from each person at EU Services.

    Cons

Going through the transition of being acquired by an investor can be challenging, but the management is committed to continued growth and will be successful as long as they stay true to their original guiding principals as originally stated by John C. Mackey.

    Advice to Management

Its a stressful time right now with busy season upon you, so everyone needs to pitch in to make this season successful with minimal stress if that is possible.

    Pros

The employees and management are among the best I have ever worked with. When I started, it was so much new information, but there was so much support from fellow team members and managment.

    Cons

Can be stressful because it is a very "deadline driven" industry.

    Advice to Management

Just stay on the path of continueous improvement to keep the company stable and forward thinking, it is the best way to stay ahead of the competitors.
