    Develop consulting competencies, ownership over your career development, plenty of room for your own initiative, great opportunities to work abroad

    Cons

    Soft requirement to work more than 40 hours but at lower pay than in industry, Level of intellectual challenge varies per project and colleagues, big 4 consultants sometimes do boring work that requires little more than warm bodies; it is vital for your own development to learn to avoid those types of engagements

    Pros

    Opportunities to develop skills within a global company, great opportunities to broaden your network. A very challenging environment, where there is much to learn.

    Cons

    High working pressure. Prone to chaos, A lot is expected of you when you are new and what exactly is expected of you is not always as clear. Especially during the first month you are thrown into the deep. Also a lack of ethnic diversity especially starting at management and upwards.

    Advice to Management

    More emphasis on quality, instead of quantity. Employees very often have to little time to address their tasks properly.
