    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at EY full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

EY brand-name still means something on your resume (until people figure out that SDC is not the same as "real EY" a.k.a. Advisory practice). They provide unrestricted access to Udemy which allows a self-motivated person to learn and develop a lot.

    Cons

No real choice in the projects get to do as projects are few and far between so you if you are on the bench, you get whatever comes up that can make you chargeable. Salary is extremely low and not at all competitive with the market, most people that leave SDC see bumps of anywhere from 20-30% for similar roles. The work requires no real skill or effort to accomplish and so you don't really learn any marketable skills...

I have been working at EY full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Looks pretty good on resume

    Cons

    Literally everything else is horrible

    Advice to Management

Shut this non sustainable practice down. Horrible leadership, horrible business model, horrible work culture, horrible horizontal progression, horrible pay, horrible leadership. They take fresh college graduates, underpay them and put noncompetes in their contract, and then burn them out until they’re ready to leave. This place should be reported to better business.

I have been working at EY full-time

    Pros

EY name on your resume, work there one year (probably going to be the worst year of your life) but you will get a minimum 40% pay raise from another company

    Cons

-Sweatshop -Horrible projects that consume your life why you are making 40k -Lie to college kids and look at them as cheap labor -Will tell you that you are a consultant but you will never travel -Zero work from home (they have reports of how many times you scan your badge per week) -The real EY is huge on remote working, but SDC employees are blasted for it -Toxic culture, on my first day 5-7 people came up to...

    Advice to Management

Send the SDC offshore and quit ruining people's lives fresh out of college selling them the 'EY Consultant' dream that is the furthest thing from the truth
