I worked at EY (More than a year)

    Pros

    Nice co-workers, DSG program, flexible

    Cons

DSG program - Because the nature of the program, you will not be an expert in 1-2 years in one area, unless you are stuck in one group from the begining

I have been working at EY full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Gain extensive experience and network with connected professionals straight out of college. Work with many high performing teams in areas of high visibility.

    Cons

Enormous stress, limited company resources, broken firm promises (you get time off that they never let you use), unpredictable and extremely long hours and lots of turnover.

    Advice to Management

Encourage increased ethics including enforcement of actual firm policies, offer better insurance, increase transparency, provide better resources including increasing hires.

I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for if you care about work-life balance and are interested in financial services. Leadership is great at recognizing talent and providing opportunities to junior team members. Additionally, the people/culture and work-life balance are what would make one think twice before leaving this firm.

    Cons

Salary and benefits are commensurate with the other Big 4 firms but could definitely be more variable - tilted more towards performance. Bonuses are almost non-existent. Benefits (insurance, family support, etc.) are great

    Advice to Management

Keep focusing on being the best in one thing and ensure that you promote high performers fast. Ensure that your strengths remain as such and that you can truly speak of EY as a different place to work at.

I have been working at EY full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Respected name that is good on a resume

    Cons

Work and happiness can depend almost entirely on the people on the smaller team you're a part of. Many teams have a few toxic individuals that make work terrible for everyone and this is hard to discover until starting.
