I worked at EY as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lovely people who make the company.

    Cons

So big that its easy to get lost as a cog in the machine.

    Advice to Management

Continue to allow great career opportunities, and don't limit the international opportunities, as they are a great selling point and way to get new ideas/knowledge into the business.

    Pros

    Amazing knowledge pool

    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Focused on innovation. And technology, there is an open admission that pressure on Audit means the Partnership must adapt rapidly to the World we live in, and not stay chained to the ideas of the world of the ‘Mad Men’.
It could be so much more.

    Cons

Paralysed by internal divisions and archaic, unresponsive internal controls . With a focus on technology and innovation, the organisation is at war with itself on so many levels, little actual innovation is achievable. It will stumble along until the new economy hollows it out.

    Advice to Management

Revise and automate the bureaucracy. It has killed innovation on many of the initiatives I have seen in the firm with old world thinking and glacial response time.
