I have been working at EY full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Team environment, ability to work day-to-day with executives and partners even as a staff, strong connections/networking opportunities, lots of experience in a short period of time

    Cons

Limited work-life balance, quality of life depends solely on your team/managers (which could be good for some people and horrible for other people), there are a lot of employees there with the mentality that work comes before social life/personal wellbeing. Don't get paid enough for the hours put in.

I have been working at EY full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Enjoy being part of a recognizable, reputable big firm along with some of the resources available and connections that you make.

    Cons

At lower levels there is no flexibility in terms of working arrangements. The work itself is also very tedious, repetitive and non value adding. Lastly, we are underpaid despite how much we work and there is not a ton of work life balance. Busy seasons and the lack of control you have over where you are placed is also very frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to staff level employees and raise their salaries!

I have been working at EY full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Excellent work-life balance if you have good management--ability to work from home if you need to see a doctor, take care of a sick child, etc. There are many opportunities to make lateral or vertical moves if you are willing and able to hone your personal skills and network. The culture is very supportive of helping you advance your career if you are clear about your goals, and make connections with others who can... help.

    Cons

Workload can become unbalanced, but it truly is what you make it. Good communication with the executives you support, and your manager, is crucial to keep things running as smoothly as possible.
