    Pros

You will learn every aspect of the market here. They will teach you how to trade and develop the tools necessary for trading. Bankers hours and no homework.

    Cons

Not everybody can do it. All the tools and training in the world do not make a trader. There are no holidays, the market is always open somewhere.

    Advice to Management

Office could use a remodel. Kitchen definitely needs an update.

I have been working at Eagle Market Makers full-time

    Pros

Fun place to work, great hours, exciting

    Cons

Lack of communication, high desk fees, owner is somewhat unstable, no negotiation on profit splits

    Advice to Management

Too much of the profit goes to top management. The clerks and traders pay the price and go into debt.

I worked at Eagle Market Makers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pros? Not here. Just a bunch of amateurs trading in the dark. If you want pros go somewhere else.

    Cons

Too many to list. Management is a joke. Unless you went to Coe College you won't get a fair shot. I've never been in such an unfair work environment. Expect at least 2 years of working 50-60+ hrs a week for part-time pay and no advancement. If you're not good at kissing or taking it up the pie hole then you won't succeed here. All of the good traders eventually leave or get pushed out the door because management is psychotic, literally, and they don't offer a fair deal to anyone....unless you went to Coe College.

    Advice to Management

Take a few lessons in business management, morality & ethics, and stop doing so many drugs.

I have been working at Eagle Market Makers full-time

    Pros

Loyal management, take time with current employees to teach the propreitary trading standards that make established traders quite a bit of money.

    Cons

Low pay to begin. Each employee has to prove his worth so high turnover rate but if you can stick it out, you can earn a healthy living!

    Advice to Management

Let people know where they stand more clearly.

  10. "not fun"

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Eagle Market Makers full-time

    Pros

It was a good place to be able to see a lot of markets. There's opportunity to move up if they like you.

    Cons

There is a revolving door policy. Much of the management have no idea about the markets and cannot offer any incite.

    Advice to Management

There isn't much they can do to help besides get out of the way and let people figure stuff out themselves. Keep spending money.
