I worked at Eagle Rock Resort part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Definitely a great place to start out with work. Our department compensates for future improvement/growth through AASI/PSIA, so you can leave after a few years with marketable snowsports credentials. Inter- and intra-departmental relations are great, and new employees are always welcomed.

    Cons

The issue with our wages is that we're paid by the lesson, so its definitely not a job if you're looking for consistent pay. Otherwise, there can be small issues depending on how you fit the the culture but those issues seem minimal.

I worked at Eagle Rock Resort full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent teamwork by managers, everyone is always willing to help you out if you need it! Beautiful resort and amenities. Cleanliness is a priority! Very friendly staff.

    Cons

Most property owners are great but as with every job, some are hard to deal with

    Advice to Management

Don't always believe everything you hear from certain managers because they are there the longest. Sometimes they are trying to put the spot light on someone else so you don't see what they're doing.

    Pros

You get to work outside and the people you work with are fun to work with.
Always doing different things which helps make the day go by faster.

    Cons

The pay isn't all that great. Not much work in the winter time, so you may get laid off. Sometimes you are put on a boring job.

    Advice to Management

Offer better pay when having to work on a weekend. Don't really know of any other advice I would provide.
