I have been working at Earls Kitchen + Bar full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I can make an average of $25 per hour and the people who work there are all very friendly and willing to help you out.

    Cons

You wear multiple hats as a server or bartender. You are expected to do every position in the restaurant which can get stressful and lead to disorganization.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing a great job! Implement an 18% gratuity for parties larger than 6 people.

I worked at Earls Kitchen + Bar full-time

    Pros

Hours/scheduling, modern kitchen and equipment, uniform (kitchen staff), pay is fair for the industry, team building activities

    Cons

A white male dominated organization with a strong lack of diversity and inclusion. Women servers are made to wear high heels. Highly unethical practices for hiring supervisory positions (training people for the position before the closing date and interview process is completed). Advancement opportunities are given to those that fit into their "boys club" over those that are qualified.

I worked at Earls Kitchen + Bar part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly coworkers, okay food but you have to pay every meal, flexible schedule

    Cons

You have to take a test on new food and drinks and if you don't pass you can't work your next shift. Managers were rude, terrible tips. Dress code were super strict and they expect all partners to go in for mandatory food/drink testing on your days off. Extremely stressful to catch up with their harsh expectations when you have other things going on in life and this is strictly a part time job

    Advice to Management

there's so much to say but the most important one is respect the employees and be open minded that there are employees in college who can't possibly revolve their life around the restaurant.

Fast paced environment, sidework was expected to be done by everyone, teamwork was encouraged as well as enforced. Keeps you on your toes.

I worked at Earls Kitchen + Bar part-time

    Pros

First thing you'll take away from this job is the friendships like ANY OTHER job! The environment can be fun with the right management and people, which there was but it was not consistent. they train you very well and they care about the way they train you. Good money on doubles! The partner discount for food when you're working is %50 OFF!

    Cons

Most unorganized company! its a stressful and unorganized environment! Hostess have extremely short (3 hours) on an hourly salary! There is never enough support staff and lack of communication was a constant problem and it negatively impacted the guest experience. Sometimes the environment is not professional even the management!

    Advice to Management

Put equal care to all departments and part of the restaurant.
