I worked at Earthbound Farm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Bonuses(sometimes) benefits
Ones in a while they take you food and give out stuff
Theirs ways to move up to a better position and get paid a little more.

    Cons

You have no life you either go in at 4 5 or 6am for the morning shift and 1 2 or 3pm for swing shift, and neither shifts have a specific time to get out(specially swing shift). You work seven to six days a week with a lot of over time.
Underpaid specially for working in a really cold environment.
Unprofessional supervisors(not all) lots of favoritism
    Most people are unhappy.
I'm only speaking about the production plant, the other departments are better to work in.

    Advice to Management

Hire professional supervisors that actually care about the issues are going on. The current supervisors just sit on their butts and gossiping and flirting in the production office all day.

I worked at Earthbound Farm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people were great, the company is big for Organics, it was a great place to work (pre buy-out). Post buy out they improved the extremely dated software. I believe they provide great medical benefits and a 401k.

    Cons

Now a publicly traded company owned by a conglomerate, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I personally know numerous employees who feel the company has been a less desirable place to work. Also they are out in the middle of nowhere. Don't expect many options for lunch without driving 10+ miles.

I worked at Earthbound Farm full-time

    Pros

Great people to work with. Very good benefits and overall HR department and team.

    Cons

It was located far- a little out there in San Juan Bautista but that is where the growing region was.

I have been working at Earthbound Farm (More than a year)

    Pros

Working for an organic produce company makes you feel good about the product that goes out to consumers.

    Cons

WhiteWave Foods acquired Earthbound almost two years ago, and with a new senior leadership team installed by the parent company, Earthbound is entering into a period of exponential growth. However, internal communications are poor, employee turnover is high, and morale is low.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more about the changes that the company is going through. Value individuals more.
