    I have been working at East Bay SPCA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Saving animals everyday, fellow employees, excellent supervisors, fulfillment everyday in self. Getting to help adopt out animals to their forever homes.

    Cons

    The client cans be challenging. When an ill or injured animal comes in making the humane decision can be hard.

    Advice to Management

    None. They're excellent

    People are so friendly there and you can work with animals.

    Cons

    Generally, if you are an animal person, it will be a great place to work.

    I would say my supervisor is great and helpful.

    Caring for homeless animals, helping make them more adoptable

    Cons

    Turnover of staff and management prevents creating a confident and cohesive team.

    Advice to Management

    Rewarding staff with competitive salaries, and creating a true open door policy atmosphere would result in staff retention and satisfaction.

    Pros

    working with kids and animals. they were very sweet and interested to learn. and the animals were so loving and adorable.

    Cons

    the kids didnt always pay attention. and the animals were sometimes out of control. and first time employees had a bit of disadvantage.

    i wouldnt say the management needed. any advice. we got along pretty well she was nice and very helpful when yo needed
