    Pros

There is lots of flexibility as a GA at ECU. The faculty and staff know that classes come first and will try to accommodate any time you need off.

    Cons

There is not many opportunities for advancement as a graduate assistant. You are pretty much locked into one rate for the duration of the semester.

    Advice to Management

Faculty and staff need to do a better job of providing feedback to the GAs. When assignments and tasks are completed, the faculty and staff should let students know how they can improve their performance.
