I worked at East West Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The bank will provide development opportunities for individuals that are talented and willing to base their life around the bank.

    Cons

Work/life balance does not exist. If you are unwilling to commit to a 60 hour work week, your options are to either stay in a clerical role or leave.

    Advice to Management

Internal political maneuvering is harming the banks work culture. Emphasize the one bank theme and replace a couple senior VPs in TMS that are focused on building kingdoms rather than supporting an overall bank culture.

Employees are mainly Asian. Overall culture is not as open as an American company. Sometimes it is a bit challenging to work in a "serious" environment.
