    Cons

Portales is a town. So if you are expecting busy and big city setup, then this is not the place for you.

    Pros

It is an easy and slow pattern work place. Salary is okay compares to other jobs in NM. A good place to start with.

    Cons

The location of the university is disappointed. Portales, NM is considered middle of no where. No movie theater, no shopping mall. Many dairy factories make the entire town smells really bad.

    Advice to Management

The management group is doing well on employees. However, the students performance is getting worse every year. Administration might need to focus more on that.

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

This is a great place to work part time while completing classes for your degree. You have the opportunity to learn and apply so much knowledge to kick-start your career before it even begins.

    Cons

Some of the grad students are never prepared for their classes and leave a mess to clean up, this can create a hectic work environment. Pay is minimum wage usually, so if your not here to learn then just get a job a gas station or somewhere that pays better.
