    Pros

The people that you get to work with are amazing. Very self rewarding job to help people with disabilities, and learn new ways of communicating.

    Cons

Things change without warning, and there is an extremely high turn over rate of employees. They hire almost anyone, so there is many people without experience.

    Advice to Management

Have some consistency when making rules and follow threw with consequences.

I have been working at Easterseals part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get to see the kids show progress, PTO, benefits, paid mileage and drive time

    Cons

No backups or flexibility when you have a last minute cancellation, the distance between clients can be unfair, supervisors can change your mileage and time (have to tell you)

    Advice to Management

There should be a limit to management having access to mileage and time sheet, try to keep workers within their area and do not send them across 2 cities when there area are not those.

I have been working at Easterseals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the nicest people working in the trenches doing the day-to-day work

    Cons

Senior management is aloof, rarely talks to daily staff. Accounting staff is always complaining about how they cannot make the bimonthly payroll. Staff delays mileage reimbursements to other staff members because there is NO money. Although, the CEO makes about $200,000 and executive staff makes over $110,000 each, this place can't pay for anything.

    Advice to Management

Why doesn't this nonprofit have partnerships with local corporations or foundations? As an accounting type, this is abnormal that there is constantly no money for anything and the staff is always being squeezed.
