I worked at Eastman Kodak full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Well known employer. In film days it provided great opportunities, but when film ended so did all the benefits of working there.

    Cons

Worked in isolation and didn't interact with anyone in the group. You got paid to produce but had no hope for new opportunities or advancement.

I worked at Eastman Kodak full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    co-workers, family like atmosphere
    great work life balance

    Cons

dying company, benefits reflect smaller workforce meaning the cost is on the employee. No internal room for advancement, Even if a job opens up they prefer external rather than rewarding an internal employee with advancement. Very hierarchy mentality.

    Pros

The last CEO has left the building

    Cons

Iconic fall of a once great company due to the last 7 or 8 CEO's who were egotistical morons. They sold every business that made money and invested all in products that were a cash hole. They had the resources and time to make the digital conversion but leaders had no vision. Harvard business case reviews hold the Kodak decline as a classic in how to do everything wrong

    Advice to Management

Hope you fella's enjoy the millions you got driving EK to the ground

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Eastman Kodak full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very few pros remain as a Kodak lifer. Benefits have dwindled. The most common statement around here is "be thankful you still have a job"! Close to retirement is the only pro left!

    Cons

Not the great company it once was. I used to be proud to work here. Glory days of Cost of living raise, performance raise and bonus are gone. Stagnant pay for the past 10 years has put me below the national median pay scale.

    Advice to Management

Hope you can get it right this time around!

Colleagues and co-workers were great, Rochester headquarters city is a low-stress and affordable place to live.
