    Pros

Great technology and resources. Awesome facility and some very smart individuals. They bought into the technology and spent 10 years driving into the ground with antiquated bureaucracy.

    Cons

Way touch oversight from management. Stifled creativity. No raises for several years, unless management. The act like they are as big and powerful as they where in the 70's.

    Advice to Management

    Man or Woman up.

    Pros

Lots of excellent and knowledgeable sales and support staff. Field sales was very dedicated to the industry and their customers. Customers were great to work with.

    Cons

Disappointed that B2C management was brought into oversee the B2B business when the B2C business was failing. It was sad to see the B2B leaders forced out.

    Advice to Management

In difficult times, be kind to your loyal employees and customers. Off shoring customer interfaces negatively affected customer satisfaction, penny wise and pound foolish.

    Pros

Company treated employees well in years past. Competitive pay and benefits in years past. Job were pretty secure.

    Cons

As the business went away so did the good treatment of employees and benefits. Morale is at an all time low. Company is struggling to stay in business.

    Advice to Management

Go back to the way you ran this company 20 years ago by treating employees well instead of just rewarding the upper management and forgetting about the rest of your workforce.

I worked at Eastman Kodak (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A promising young print technology and fascinating high tech product line which uses it. My former coworkers are an exceptionally strong staff of high performers - a side effect of the Con below - who collaborate willingly to contribute to the organization's and their customers' success. There is plenty of work to be done should they be in a position to expand their staffing.

    Cons

A series of staff cutbacks over several years and through a (completed) bankruptcy have begun to cost them some of their strongest performers and most clear-visioned leaders, both voluntarily and through mandatory reductions.

    Advice to Management

Have a more realistic understanding of how complicated it is to turn a new technology into reliable products and bring them to the marketplace. Nurture the bridge products that keep the business going. Value the input of the experts in the markets of companies you have acquired over your own preconceptions of how to best merge organizations. Continue to treat your people with respect even in the layoff process; I truly appreciate the way you handle that part of things.
