I have been working at Eastman Kodak full-time

    Pros

Good working environment with fantastic coworkers. You won't find a better group of people here, everyone works as a family. The CEO is very forward thinking and is taking the company in a good direction.

    Cons

Wages remain stagnant and have for some time. Upgrading hardware and software is almost nonexistent, this company is still behind on revitalizing its capital. Upper management is disconnected with the workers, even if they try not to be.

    Advice to Management

Connect and listen to workers more, maintenance is on the ground and knows what needs to be done to keep this company running smoothly. Do everything you can to raise wages to stay competitive.

I worked at Eastman Kodak full-time

    Pros

So short-staffed due to years of layoffs that there are a lot of growth opportunities.

I worked at Eastman Kodak full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great group of intelligent and hard-working people to be with. I enjoyed working with every one of the people I interacted with on a regular basis.

    Cons

Management too often changed the structure of businesses, not giving them enough time to develop into something meaningful before changing things again. Also, annual growth targets were frequently unrealistic as too many in the chain-of-command would increase targets from those closest to the businesses.

    Advice to Management

Pick a direction and stick too it.

    Pros

    Benefits, providing they still exist.

    Cons

Eliminated FLEX time. Changed how vacation is earned. Low pay. Poor expectation for advancement. Benefits kept being changed usually for the worse (reduced or eliminated).

    Advice to Management

Quit or change your attitude toward hourly workers (they are not a necessary evil and shouldn't be treated as such).
