I worked at Easton Hospital full-time

    Pros

Very few good reasons except most nurses are exceptional to work with

    Cons

Sold twice and now is up for sale again, union just takes the members money and offers very little in return, Administrative team are puppets and will lie just to keep their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Start caring about staff and stop lying. Own your responsibilities.

I have been working at Easton Hospital full-time

    Pros

Decent salary with plenty of overtime hours available. Great co-workers. Autonomy. Small hospital with lots of chances for experiences, and education. Medical staff easy to work with, and easily accessible, for any help.

    Cons

Small hospital so you do not get to see many trauma patients. Supplies run low at times, which is frustrating but not that serious of a problem.

    Advice to Management

Support your staff. Create more of a team atmosphere. You have great workers - do not take them for granted.

I have been working at Easton Hospital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits package is good if you’re a full time employe. Some of the people are ok. Less people to deal with on night shift.

    Cons

Scheduling sucks if you work nights. Training isn’t the greatest. Training for nights was basically non existent then Day shift will Nag to you about everything.

    Advice to Management

They just need to get their stuff together

bullying, use of abusive language by some technicians, management does not solve personnel problems, female employees form cliques, technicians do not perform their duties as they should - everyone cuts corners. pharmacist are reluctant to accept new/additional duties, such as clinical duties

    Advice to Management

too much favoritism, not enough recognition for job well done, hiring incompetent people

I worked at Easton Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great physicians and employees

    Cons

Extremely poor administrative leadership that and unstable CEO position

    Advice to Management

The slate needs to be wiped clean. Those of you who have survived for whatever reason have contributed to the demise of Easton Hospital and you have accomplished nothing over the last 10 years. Your lack of leadership is appalling. Hopefully new leadership will be brought in to infuse life back into this institution for the community and the physicicians and employees. All the great, dedicated employees who could have made a difference have left thanks to your lack of leadership.

I worked at Easton Hospital (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Not any I can think of.

    Cons

Clueless administration who spends most of their days in meetings and doesn't interact with managers. I had to wait 6 months to get an appointment to see my boss. They tell you when you can take your vacation days (at holidays). You are just a widget to them and not a person. The most inhuman place I have ever worked run by a soul-less corporation whose stock is in the toilet.

    Advice to Management

    Sell!
