    Pros

Pay is decent for Lehigh valley area

Poorly managed emergency department. Always short-staffed. Staff is stressed due to high demands. Don't expect to get a break.

Hire more nurses and pcts. Listen to staff for ideas on how to improve.

I worked at Easton Hospital part-time

    Pros

Best pay in Lehigh Valley for RNs. Always a need for overtime. Opportunities for education within the hospital to become a better nurse.

    Cons

No management. Understaffed. Many nurses with back injuries etc. from trying to move patients alone because lack of help.

    Advice to Management

Need management to prevent employees from bullying others.

I worked at Easton Hospital (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Not any I can think of.

    Cons

Clueless administration who spends most of their days in meetings and doesn't interact with managers. I had to wait 6 months to get an appointment to see my boss. They tell you when you can take your vacation days (at holidays). You are just a widget to them and not a person. The most inhuman place I have ever worked run by a soul-less corporation whose stock is in the toilet.

    Advice to Management

    Sell!

    Advice to Management

Managers need to act like a manager not your best friend

I worked at Easton Hospital (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people. Staff truly cares about their patients. Offer many of the same services of the other local mega-hospitals, but with a more personal approach.

    Cons

Management needs to consider what really matters versus the fluff.
