    Pros

Great staff to work with across multiple sites, so always a chance it can revive and flourish within the new structure.

    Cons

Sale to Interoute gutted the company, and whilst still having a lot of good people there, not the same.

    I worked at Easynet full-time

    Pros

Easynet was a great company to work at, at some point.

    Cons

After the Aquisition by MDNX in 2014, things were going worse for a company which I have served for over 11 years. But nothing could have prepared us for the aquisition from Interoute.
A company with a culture of shopping for the cheapest staff in europe, thus constant hiring and firing people with little regards for the humane in Humane Resource.

    Advice to Management

Change 80% of your old stale VP's, get in some new blood.

I have been working at Easynet full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No longer any. No longer any, used to be great summer parties and Christmas parties and pay rises. No longer any

    Cons

Since the MDNX takeover easynet was flooded with useless uninspiring and incompetent management, how MDNX managed to get 200 million to buy them out I'll never know, and now interoute have bought them out for 400 million. With the hope of a better run company taking over I was excited but less than 2 months in they say they will shut the single best support centre down in the UK and move all work to Sofia Bulgaria. And they will do it in 3 months, management are equally as inemp at interoute as were in MDNX. Glad to be taking my redundancy and watching the fire that was easynet from a far. Feel bad for the customers that are left who signed contracts for UK support when the company knew full well that was never going to be the case.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your minions they got you where you are they know more than you, and swallow your pride and listen to those poor people that will make you a better company.

    Cons

Was a lovely company to work for until taken over by MDNX. Was hoping Intetoute take over would salvage it but sadly company hone down hill even more and support now moved to Bulgaria. Bad news for staff and customers.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff they know the customers

    Pros

I've personally had lots of career progression through easynet having moved from support and team leadership into service management. There are a lot of opportunities to learn and progress, however these are mostly due to the cons.

    Cons

No official training in over 6 years. Lack of investment in infrastructure, systems and staff, both in terms of pay and headcount. Multiple customer facing depts struggle due to lack of sufficient and appropriately trained resource. Everything is predicated on goodwill and knowing who to talk to. Processes are half formed and quarter implemented. Too many products, not enough expertise. Constant cycle of acquisitions means no one feels settled, secure, or like there is value in trying to improve processes as the next merger will simply blow that hard work out of the water.

    Advice to Management

Streamline products, staff adequately and actually train people. Invest in infrastructure and systems so that basic tasks can be achieved with ease.
