no contact with other employees, which can be a pro depending on if you like or dislike talking to people
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Innovative and willing to try new things
Cons
Sometimes there was lack of clear expectations and measures of success
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Eatstreet was a fine company to drive for. You were an employee so received a W2 and their driver managers weren't incompetent
Cons
You have less freedom in rejecting orders. As in, you can't reject an order
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Scheduling is flexible, the pay is typically exceptional for a non-degree position, the staff is very helpful & friendly, Training is clear and concise, You're a direct employee and not an independent contractor, a lot of independence, great support (dispatch & management), vision & dental insurance as well as other benefits available
Cons
You can't pick up hours whenever you want, some customers don't leave tips and you won't know until after you deliver the food, the hourly wage is low or non-competitive with tip-wage jobs, no clear path for advancement, no health insurance

Pros
I have worked at EatStreet for coming up on 6 months and cannot recommend this company enough. They really care about their employees and I have had nothing but great experiences with upper management. They have an awesome culture and do a lot of charity work for the Madison area.
Cons
If you don’t like remote work, this might not be for you.
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Great side gig for someone who needs a flexible schedule
Cons
Pay benefits for thos who work more/take more orders, so may not be worth only a few hours a week
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Some days you make money
Cons
We only make 2.33$ an hour. Somedays you barely make minimum wage. They just laid off many people! They don’t mind forcing you to drive 20 mins to a restaurant then to the customer for no tip! The system goes down for hours every few months. I spend on average 5 hours a week without orders.

Pros
Flexible scheduling, w2 job so less tax trouble, easy to do, have operations to help anytime
Cons
Limited benefits, scheduling is set every couple weeks, can be boring during down time
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Save yourself hours of senseless driving and find a different job
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Get to work by yourself
Cons
You cannot pick which order you want to take, so the vast majority of your orders end up being one- item orders resulting in non existent tips. They used to have a rewarding bonus system based off of how many hours you were clocked in, but it has since changed to the amount of orders you complete and because you have to wait around until a new order is assigned to you, bonus money is rare. Mileage reimbursement is present, but for the amount of city driving you do for this job, your car maintenance costs will eventually surpass the reimbursement rate per mile. There were numerous shifts where I would wait sometimes a full hour for an order to come in which resulted in my compensation to be only the hourly rate (incredibly low considering rising rates of inflation and gas prices).
