    Pros

The energy at the site was good, the employees were open to sharing their ideas, the management seemed to be put together very well.

    Cons

HR department kept pushing and rescheduling the hiring decision. They said they would have an answer in a week, but I didn't get a response for a month. When I followed up, I was treated disrespectfully and inappropriately.

    Advice to Management

Workout the kinks in your HR department application process- it was a real turnoff for the job.

Opportunities across the US and in multiple industries.
    High availability of training.
Extensive review cycle for personal feedback.

    Cons

Upper-level management is unable to maintain a consistent message for more than 3 months.
'Lean' structure means everyone is either over-worked or unable to perform their job effectively.
New product development projects are continuously cancelled, ensuring a dim future

    Advice to Management

Re-fill positions after people quit. Invest in R&D at the site level.

I worked at Eaton full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent pay and benefits. All employees are considered salaried meaning you get a guaranteed 40 hr. minimum paycheck (with a possibility of overtime).

    Cons

Not a climate controlled production area. Summer temps in some parts of the building can reach 100 degrees. In the last 20 months the work force has dropped from about 320 to about 150 due to reduced customer demand but in 2014, I worked from Easter to Independence Day with one scheduled day off due to demand that exceeded our ability to produce at a 24/7 schedule so workloads can have wild swings. Lack of communication/ inconsistent communication from management was a frequent frustration-especially if you didn't work first shift and no one above supervisor level management was on site.

    Pros

great development and internship programs, company culture is so positive, people last and seem to enjoy their jobs. Their compensation is competitive, and they were flexible with location.

    Cons

Manager had no idea what to do with me as an intern, she highlighted company's flaws which was sort of discouraging. Lack of communication between manager and team when it came to incorporating the intern.

    Advice to Management

intern managers should receive training, because one bad manager could influence someones entire view of the company. better communication with intern.
