    Pros

    Good food Lots of choices

    Cons

You had to pay for the food. No insurance even after asking over and over. No moving out of Chef Case. Cleaning was non stop.

    Advice to Management

Rotate your staff. Make that position part time only. Feed your staff.

    I worked at Eatzi's full-time

    Pros

I can't say that there any pros.

    Cons

If you do the right thing and hold integrity, you'll wind up losing your job. Don't hold a second job or you'll pay with your employment at eatzi's. Unfortunately, none of the higher ups hold the integrity that they claim to desire. Assumptions will be made about you and your character based on an extreme lack of information.

    Advice to Management

Don't allow conflicts of interest to permeate your day to day activities. When someone does the right thing and it is things outside of YOUR business, don;t allow it to become an issue.

    I worked at Eatzi's full-time

    Pros

Good pay and not such a bad environment.

    Cons

Lot of back bending and you cant speak to some managers without them thinking you dont matter. The shifts suck.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees.

    I worked at Eatzi's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Management very friendly and able to work with you schedule. Hard workers can get recognition and the pay is good for part-time.

    Cons

Can only work there if you are 18 or older and need to get an alcohol selling license. Also you have to pay for your own uniform.

    Advice to Management

Make sure everyone pulls their weight and try to keep on top of employee drama so it doesn't get out of hand.

    Pros

All the free food, you'll almost never need to buy food.

    Cons

Often expected to work different hours than scheduled, interfering with life outside of work. They need to improve on scheduling enough people

    I worked at Eatzi's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are fantastic. It's like a family. I worked in the marketing department and got to make my own schedule and had creative freedom. New ideas were welcomed and openly discussed. CEO is always willing to discuss new marketing opportunities and partnerships.
20 years in business, they are doing something right!

    Cons

Even when I was away from the office I was still working. With the market open 7 days a week, 15 hours a day, and on 24/7 social media watch it was hard to escape work. I loved what I did so it didn't bother me most of the time, but if you are looking into a corporate position with Eatzi's just bear this in mind.
Also, navigating traffic between the stores and corporate got old quickly.

    Advice to Management

Have more team building exercises or an annual reward of some kind!

    Pros

So many incredible (and notable) chefs have passed through these doors. This is a fantastic place for a chef to cut his teeth. Lots of high-volume reps of high-end food.

    Cons

I wish there were more opportunities for advancement. Unfortunately, the company is not expanding at a breakneck pace, so advancement opportunities are limited.

    Advice to Management

Keep building, keep growing this concept. Eatzi's has definitely withstood the test of time, and is nothing less than an institution in Dallas.

I worked at Eatzi's (Less than a year)

    Pros

They take care of you, they'll give you any red dot item that wasn't sold. Some of the customers are really friendly, and will talk to you.

    Cons

They do not respect your availability whenever it comes to scheduling, if you tell them that you cannot work a certain day, they'll still schedule that day to work. If you don't show up (call-in) they'll write you up. If someone else calls in and they ask you to come in on your day off, you will not get a break, and some managers will tell you that breaks are not for eating, you are also told to ASK for permission to go to the bathroom, when it come to breaks, you must ask for a 30 minute one, which is unpaid, but it will take 15 minutes for your food to be made as well as waiting for a manager to come and give you the discount. If you're ringing up a customer and accidentally scan something you'll have to wait until a manager comes for a void, if you're breaking a $100 or $50 bill you will have to wait a while before a manager comes to supervise you breaking down change. They'll promise to compensate a meal if you cover for someone but once you show up to work, they won't comp your meal. There's a huge amount of racism, you'll always be watched from the cameras in the back. There is a huge amount of employees that are on drugs, as in powder cocaine, and marijuana, they all speak on it when speaking among each other and there's no drug testing. Most of the employees that were previously employed when I first started are no longer there,
