    Lawyer up.

    Pros

Fair, Laid back, accommodating, great people. Management has your back on all matters. Tremendous environment. Team is completely dedicated.

    Cons

Little opportunity for advancement, no pay raises offered. CEO is self centered and arrogant, often referring to himself in the 3rd person

    Advice to Management

Focus on improving morale. Offer raises, I have not seen a raise in over 8 years that I have been there.

I worked at Ebix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is an aesthetically pretty company on the outside with their amenities and the inside decor.

    Cons

They spend all their money on making the outside and inside look very nice but they do not care or pay their employees well. They have not spent any time on any of the inside amenities as we were promised such as a cafeteria, break room and gym. They build all this outside equipment that we have no time to use so it's pointless. There is way too much work put on us and we are not compensated well enough for it. There is a horrible lack of training and a very high turnover because nobody wants to deal with that lack of respect from the higher managers.

    Advice to Management

invest in a training class that will be productive to the call center and the rest of the employees. Don't put all this work on one person and expect this to finish it ALL in one day. Treat your employees with respect and treat us like human beings.

    Pros

Interesting work that was challenging enough to keep it interesting.

    Cons

Internally, the team I worked with were notoriously not great communications. Pay not outstanding.

    Advice to Management

Work on removing the silo affect across all their business platforms.

    Pros

Health plan. Understanding lower MGMT. Nice casual environment.

    Cons

Salaries far below average, no raises, no bonuses. Pitiful retirement benefits. No investing in employees

    Advice to Management

Too much competition in this world to think that everyone is replaceable.

    I worked at Ebix full-time

    Pros

The only good thing about working here is the feeling you get when you don't have to work here anymore.

    Cons

Completely inept management all around. No room to advance in the company. Horrid HR if that's what you want to call it.

    Advice to Management

Good thing you are a manager at this place because you'd never make it elsewhere. Get some training...you need it.

     potential for growth.

I worked at Ebix full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Zero. If you are considering working at this company you are nuts.

    Cons

Lack of policies. Lack of professionals. Lack of ethics. Lack of a clue on appropriate comp. Shrinking number of clients, bad reputation in the industry.
I worked there only through an acquisition and would never consider such a company otherwise.

    Advice to Management

It is obvious that you grow through acquisition but cannot manage your way out of a box operationally. You need to grown top line revenue not through lay offs. Your best bet for long-term sustainability is to let someone purchase you.
