I have been working at Eby-Brown full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Monthly attendance bonus. 100$ just for coming to work each day. 4 day work week.

    Cons

Delivering cigarettes in the ghetto isn't exactly fun. Loaders are paid less than great, so they don't take pride in the work, and the driver has to deal with it. We are losing a big contract (Circle K) in January, and we don't know how secure our jobs are. Management isn't telling us anything, and rumors are starting to spread.

    Advice to Management

Grow a pair, and work with the warehouse management to find a better way to load trucks. Start picking cigs into plain closed boxes, to be less obvious what we're delivering. Talk speedway into painting dedicated unloading zones.

    Pros

You can pretty much say whatever you want in this workplace. There are no limits on how inappropriate you can be especially if you are friends with everyone. Some managers are great to work with because they understand professionalism and they do try to offer a work-life balance but again that depends on who your manager is.

    Cons

    Where do I begin...
Unless you plan on sucking up and becoming friends with management don't expect to move up in this company. Management gets to treat and speak to their employees however they want. You can report it to HR but guess what they just run back and tell the same person you made a complaint about without actually trying to resolve any issues that goes for management and other employees. There are racial and sexist jokes passed around like candy disregarding how they may make others feel. There are hard workers in this company who get used to do others jobs while they take about 20 smoke breaks in a day.

    Advice to Management

There is nothing that can be said here that many employees have tried to voice in the past and present. Unless they are willing to make changes there is no hope.
