I worked at EchoStar full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Very skilled workforce. Watch TV at work.

    Cons

Leadership isn't very good. None of their technology is groundbreaking or state of the art. Very clear that management is more important than people who do the work that makes the profit.

    Advice to Management

Quit fighting with other teams in the same division. Very feudal.

Helpful teammates, work may be irrelevant to market but it is interesting

    Advice to Management

Look at what the current salaries are in the market. Also don't hold immigrants hostage in promise of filing their green card.
