    Pros

Enormous network of talented people, lots of opportunities to advance or head to other offices, expansive top tier client list, excellent reputation within the field

    Cons

Very expensive, and corporate procedures don't allow teams to be as nimble as they need to be at times

    Pros

Edelman is one of the worlds premiere agencies and attracts top tallent as such.

    Cons

Unfortunately, a churn-and-burn mentatlity especially as it relates to junior and mid-level staff is very common. Edelman loses a lot of great tallent to burn-out.

I have been working at Edelman full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Top-down philosophy that fosters positive, open-door environment with lots of built-in programs to help employees learn and go beyond their job description. From small things like bagels to big things like mentor programs and company retreats, Edelman acts on their philosophy.

    Cons

At the end of the day, it IS a large organization where people can get lost, if they choose to not participate.

    Advice to Management

Please update the GFS - lots of great information is buried in an out-dated UI.

I have been working at Edelman full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company culture, great accountability, a very supportive environment that encourages learning, benefits that are unheard of at other companies, beautiful office space, lots of upward mobility if you can negotiate, remain patient, and prove your worth. I came from a job at a studio and it was hell compared to the job here. Edelman truly cares for its employees. MATTER is the best department to work for.

    Cons

PR personalities and egos can sometimes be hard to deal with, for lower level employees, the revenue spikes between promotions are very minimal

    Advice to Management

Keep working together as a team and seeing the big picture. Sure bringing in another team (specializing in that part of the scope) will take from your revenue as a department, but we are all one company and if we all help each other out, business will all grow and be conducted by the specialists to ensure it all proceeds according to plan.
