I have been working at Edgepark Medical Supplies full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The salary is very good for the position and the company is flexible with time off needed.

    Cons

The company and management do not always listen to the employees and tend to lean towards micro managing. I recently have also had issues with management not assisting with career development and improvement and this is why I am actively looking for a new employer.

I worked at Edgepark Medical Supplies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hard to think of anything positive to say about an oppressive environment.

    Cons

Not family friendly. Every move you make is monitored. Employee handbook reads like "50 ways to be terminated". Just an awful environment.

    Advice to Management

Unlock the handcuffs and allow people to balance.

I have been working at Edgepark Medical Supplies (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent benefits, not a boring job, large company, lunch is on site available for purchase and fitness center on site.

    Cons

No actual training, some people act to busy to help you out, will put you on supervisor calls with out you actually being a supervisor

    Advice to Management

create more incentives for making your employees that arent supervisors take supervisor calls, alot of other companies pay their employees in the same role more of a salary, train your employees to do their job.

    Pros

Owned by Cardinal Health, Top 20 Business Org Healthcare Industry; Significant business growth potential. Access to training and development (you must be willing to steer yourself). Highly ethical and compliant company. Most people want to do what is right for the organization and its customers. Launched a new Patient/Employee centric Mission: CARES

    Cons

Lack of investment in their most valuable resource; Lean resource environment; many employees feel over worked and undervalued or appreciated. Open working environment; not for those that prefer offices and privacy. Executive Management does not always do what they say they will do. Fiscal Goals set at unachievable levels out of the gate

    Advice to Management

Please listen to what your employees are saying and posting...Take Corrective Action

    Pros

Monthly bonus if production numbers are met, onsite cafeteria and gym, decent 401k

    Cons

Too much micromanagement, training used to be great when changing job roles now you are just thrown in and expected to perform. Reward jobs well done with just more work. Cutting corners just to go the numbers was commonly forced upon workers by their supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Train your employees better, make quality a priority over quantity.

    Pros

It's under the cardinal health umbrella and the jobs are all around the USA once you have completed a year with the company you can move anywhere within cardinal health

    Cons

Underpaid and if your to good at your job they don't want to promote you, they pigeon hole you into that job so bosses can get their bonus, hire felons also

    Advice to Management

HELP promote people in lower level positions and not just talk about it

    Pros

Great starting pay and annual raises

    Cons

Micro managed, sick days are used against you

    Advice to Management

Come up with a better structure for attendance it doesn't make sense that you can't use all your sick days as needed and they have to be pre approved days off
