    Pros

Some very committed people working very hard to change the culture and improve overall management. It's certainly an honor to work alongside these beautiful people.

    Cons

Lots of politics at upper management.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Edgewood Center for Children and Families part-time

    Pros

Helping the kids feels rewarding. Good place to develop your skills working with kids, generally good coworkers, most people working there genuinely want to help. Nice campus.

    Cons

Low pay for high risk work. Management is out of touch and in opposition to what workers need. Lots of turnover. Inconsistencies in what interventions staff are told to use.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within and choose people with experience working in the field. Pay direct service staff a living wage... $13 an hour in San Francisco is not a living wage!
