    Pros

Edmc was great for promoting within its company with new positions.

    Cons

Because of the overall online education market and the lack of understanding of how to better run the company the company was constantly downsizing and closing departments it made everyone feel like the job was not reliable

    Advice to Management

I worked at Education Management Corporation full-time

    Pros

Good compensation and benefits, smaller campuses mean high levels of student interaction.

    Cons

Campuses don't have as much autonomy as I would like to see. Upper level managment within EDMC is out of touch with the "ground troops" on the campuses. Because of frequent restructures, employees are fearful of the stability of their jobs on an ongoing basis.
