    Pros

They seem to hire mostly good, smart people. It is a pleasure working with my team. My direct manager is one of the best in the company.

    Cons

Selling poor people $80,000 dollar educations isn"t exactly the most moral thing I could be doing. It seams that students would be saddled with debt for a long time.

    Advice to Management

Work on empowering the people who make you money. These are your bread and butter. Don't treat them like morans.

    Cons

Very high pressure - low support environment.

    Advice to Management

There are some danged smart people that work here - you should seek them out and listen to them.

    Pros

Fast growing company, a lot of change, new initiatives as well as an upward moving industry with a focus on people.

    Cons

Inexperienced executive management. No real focus on best practices for operational efficiency. No real methodology adopted at this current point in time.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people, promote those who can foster new ideas, and those who have insight from other industries who can instill best practices.

    Pros

Tuition assistance programs, benefits, good work atmosphere

    Cons

Too large of an organization-- I felt that my accomplishments were praised at a local-level, but the board of directors and management team at a corporate-level were only focused on the bottom line. Projected growth was decided at a national-level without taking the time to research the local market, resulting in frustrated employees, low morale and high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Listen to feedback from employees-- people want to be part of something great and will be motivated to work harder if they feel they are being listened to. Having over-worked employees, who feel the goals they are working towards are not achievable, results in those employees going out in the community and speaking negatively about their work environment.

Current Employee - Software Engineer in Phoenix, AZ
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

The people are generally very competent.
Very young workforce - lots of nice eye candy walking around! (more than I can say for most IT departments).
Lots of flexibility in my schedule, and management is open to tele-commuting. Some even work remotely full time.
Lots of fairly leading-edge technology means I get a chance to do a wide variety of interesting work.
    Fast paced, and challenging.

    Cons

Chaotic. The business barely manages to stay ahead of issues and basically just keeps their heads above water most of them. Very reactionary. Fortunately, IT is not as bad as the business side with regards to daily activity.
Lack of upper leadership - a sufficient amount of re-org and change means that projects are constantly getting shifted and re-prioritized. There is kind of a lack of ground-level work being done for people int he trenches, which is a shame, because they need a lot of help in that area.
Total lack of cohesive infrastructure. With IT folks in Pittsburgh and Phoenix, ther are communications issues (not to mention the time zone difference) that make coordinating things kind of difficult.

The whole organization could best be described as a CMM level 1 place - very reactionary.

    Advice to Management

Stop spending millions of dollars on projects that never seem to go anywhere. Solve the day to day issues to lighten the loads of worker bees.

Current Employee - Workstudy in Atlanta, GA
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Environment, location, people, scheduling , time off

    Cons

No Benefits are offered to part-tim or to workstudy
No Promotions are ever posted or referred, only allowed a set amount of hours

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if offered some type of affordable health care at least to the work study being that they are in school.
